"MODELING COMPASSION:
A Visual TOOLKIT FOR A KINDER SOCIETY"
DO SOMETHING.
What is the best way to learn? Is it by someone lecturing to you? Maybe when you are a child this will be necessary since the information is so new. As adults, we learn mostly by observation and actually taking a hands on approach - this doesn't mean we have to use our hands, but we learn by actually doing something or seeing something modeled. Let's see if we can join forces and create a teaching tool.
I would like to create a video compilation of the submissions that you create, Create a convincing dramatization of no more than 10-20 seconds. It needs to feel like a hidden camera not a staged production. My goal is to WEAVE these short videos into one longer video with a thought-provoking monologue and cohesive music carrying the video through. This is a collaborative efforts!
It needs to be uploaded to VIMEO (not youtube) so I can easily download the file.

SOME EXAMPLES TO FILM (EITHER REAL OR CREATED) - It has to be original or else I cannot use it. That means you cannot use something that someone else filmed.
I think you get it now, right? Whatever is weaved together will be how I will write the narrative and then I will publish it online for people to share. Cool?
- Adults reading books to kids.
- Helping an elderly person carry their groceries.
- Helping push someone's car that stopped running.
- Handing a sandwich to a person who is hungry.
- People of different races walking together.
- Holding the door for someone
- Handing back a $20 bill that you saw fall out of someone's pocket.
- Pulling the trash bins to the yard for your neighbor (I do this each week for my elderly neighbor)
- Helping someone get up when they fall.
- Letting someone cry on your shoulder
